Founder of the organization
Ms. Sukanya Chakraborty
Ms. Sukanya Chakraborty has been in the field of education for more than 25 years. An alumnus of Viswa Bharati, Santineketan she had a promising start of her career in the field of education from Bhavan’s Nand Vidya Niketan Hazira, Surat: later named as ESSAR INTERNATIONAL.
She is a TEA fellow and successfully completed the Teaching Excellence and Achievement program from University of Alabama Huntsville (U.S.A) organized by USIEF(Fulbright) and implemented by IREX in the year 2007.
She received the TEA grant to set up a “cluster –resource room”, for students with learning disabilities in order to accelerate the learning progress and better integrate them into the classrooms with other students. She was a teacher, teacher-educator and the author of Geography books for middle school titled “EXCURSIONS”, published by Collins India.
We fondly remember our founder, whose vision continues to guide us. Though we lost her to unforeseen circumstances, her commitment to inclusive education lives on through her family and the Paarvarish team, who carry forward her work with dedication and care.
Ms. Moutusi Sinha Roy
Co-Founder
She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Operations and has worked with renowned publishing houses in marketing roles. During this time, her extensive interactions with schools across Eastern India gave her valuable insights into the diverse educational landscape and highlighted the need for more inclusive learning environments.
Moutusi also gained international teaching experience while working as an elementary teacher at a school in Frankfurt, Germany. This exposure further strengthened her understanding of child-centered education and inclusive practices.
Her experiences across industries and geographies inspired her to co-found Paarvarish, with the vision of creating a nurturing and inclusive space where every child receives the support and opportunity they deserve.

As the Treasurer of the Trust that runs the school, he plays a key role in overseeing financial planning and administrative functions. His practical approach and organizational insight contribute significantly to the smooth and sustainable functioning of the institution, supporting its mission to provide quality education for children with special needs.

Ms. Binita Chaudhury
Trustee Member & Academic Head Coordinator
She holds a Master’s degree in Bengali Literature and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calcutta, and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education. She has also completed a certification in Understanding Neurodiversity from NSOU, reflecting her continued commitment to advancing her expertise in this field.
Throughout her career, Binita has worked across diverse educational settings, including mainstream schools and inclusive learning environments. Her experience spans roles as a subject teacher, one-on-one educator, and coordinator for inclusive education programs at institutions such as Kamala Chatterjee School for Girls, Sri Ram Ramnarayan Singh Memorial High School, and Hope Academy.
At Paarvarish, she leads curriculum development and ensures that learning programs are thoughtfully adapted to meet the unique needs of each child. She oversees the design and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to set meaningful goals and monitor progress.
Binita is also deeply involved in mentoring educators and strengthening teaching practices through regular training and guidance. She promotes the use of structured, evidence-based approaches and fosters a collaborative environment among staff.
Her role includes close coordination with multidisciplinary teams—such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavioral specialists—to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s development. She actively engages with parents, offering guidance and support to extend learning beyond the classroom.
With a strong focus on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement, she ensures that academic programs meet appropriate standards while maintaining thorough documentation and progress tracking.
Binita’s experience, leadership, and compassionate approach make her a cornerstone of Paarvarish’s mission to support and empower children with diverse learning needs.

Ms. Riya Das
Assistant Teacher & Computer Skill Development Teacher
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Calcutta. Her professional training includes a certification in Information Technology from Youth Computer Centre, a course in Understanding Neurodiversity from NSOU, and a Pre-Primary Teachers’ Training Course (PPTC) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), completed at Sunderji Teachers' Training Institute, Pune.
At Paarvarish, Riya works closely with children through individualized (1:1) learning approaches, supporting them across subjects while also focusing on building essential computer and digital skills. Her goal is to help students develop independence and confidence through practical and accessible use of technology.
She breaks down learning into small, engaging steps and uses visual methods to make concepts easier to understand. For her, success lies in meaningful milestones—whether it is a child learning to use a mouse, typing their name, or creating their first digital drawing.
With a patient and encouraging approach, Riya believes that technology can be a powerful tool for empowerment when adapted to each child’s unique learning style.

Occupational & Speech Therapist and Academic Teacher
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Psychology. She has also completed a certification in Understanding Neurodiversity from NSOU, strengthening her foundation in working with children with diverse developmental needs.
At Paarvarish, Anwesha works with children to improve sensory processing, fine motor skills, attention span, and daily living abilities through structured therapeutic activities. She also focuses on enhancing speech clarity, language development, and communication skills using individualized and interactive methods.
In her role as an academic teacher, she supports children in developing cognitive abilities and foundational skills in reading, writing, and comprehension through engaging, child-centered approaches tailored to each learner.
With a compassionate and holistic approach, Anwesha aims to create a supportive environment where children can build confidence, develop essential skills, and progress at their own pace.

Ms. Geeti Goswami
Subject Teacher
She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kalyani. She has also completed a specialized training in Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs at Paarvarish Educational Trust. In addition, she holds a certification in Scouting and Guiding, reflecting her interest in holistic student development.
Prior to joining Paarvarish, Geeti worked as a Subject Teacher at Bodhichariya School, Rajarhat, where she gained 5 years of teaching experience. She has been associated with Paarvarish for the past 2 years, working closely with children in an inclusive learning environment.
At Paarvarish, she provides individualized (1:1) academic support, focusing on developing each child’s skills at their own pace. She adapts her teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and ensures that students feel supported, confident, and engaged in the learning process.

Music and Vernacular Teacher
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours), which supports her understanding of child development and learning processes.
At Paarvarish, Oindrilla works as a Hindi language teacher, helping students build a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension through structured and engaging methods. She focuses on making language learning accessible and meaningful for each child.
In her role as a music teacher, she nurtures students’ sense of rhythm, melody, and expression. She introduces songs aligned with seasons and cultural festivals, with a special emphasis on Rabindra Sangeet. Through active participation, repetition, and encouragement, she helps children develop confidence in their vocal abilities and enjoy the process of musical learning.
Oindrilla believes that music and language are powerful tools for expression and connection, and she strives to create a joyful and inclusive environment where every child can participate and grow.

Mr. Priyotosh Mondal
Physiotherapy & Yoga Assistant and Office Administrator
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and has completed a Diploma in Physiotherapy, along with certifications in Yoga and Massage Therapy. He also holds an ITI certification in Electronics Mechanic, reflecting a diverse skill set.
At Paarvarish, Priyotosh supports children with physical disabilities and developmental delays by helping improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical function. His work enables students to participate more actively in educational and daily activities.
In his administrative role, he is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential student records, including attendance and documentation related to special education needs. He acts as a key point of contact for parents, teachers, and external agencies, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination. He also supports compliance with institutional policies, safety standards, and required documentation processes.
Priyotosh’s dedication, reliability, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities make him an integral part of both the care and operational framework of Paarvarish.

Ms. Rikta Manna
Dance Teacher
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Calcutta and has completed a certification in Understanding Neurodiversity from NSOU. She has also undergone specialized training in Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs at Paarvarish Educational Trust.
At Paarvarish, Rikta conducts individualized (1:1) dance sessions tailored to each child’s abilities and comfort level. Her teaching focuses on developing rhythm (*taal*) and movement (*chhanda*), while encouraging children to express themselves through music and motion.
She introduces elements of classical dance such as *Drishtibheda* (expressive eye movements), *Mudras* (hand gestures), and *Navaras* (emotional expressions), helping children communicate feelings in a creative and engaging way. She also incorporates stretching and movement exercises to improve flexibility and body awareness.
Rikta creates a joyful and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, engaged, and free to express themselves. She believes that dance is a powerful tool for connection, self-expression, and holistic development.
